Apple announced an overhaul of its iMac line Tuesday, replacing the white enclosure of its all-in-one desktop with a new aluminum-and-glass design. In addition to its new look, the updated iMac—announced at a press briefing at Apple’s Cupertino, Calif., headquarters—also comes in 20- and 24-inch versions, eliminating the entry-level 17-inch offering.

As the format battle rages on, today Toshiba announced three new HD DVD players: the HD-A3, the HD-A30, and the HD-A35. Michael Imperioli, star of The Sopranos and recent Toshiba HD DVD commercials, is not included.

When Nintendo took down the Shopping Channel for 3 hours earlier we knew something was up, it now seems that Nintendo updated the firmware on the Wii to include many small but nice features and even according to anecdotal evidence increase the speed of the UI. Also updated is the Wii Shopping Channel.
